Busy Busy Busy!!!!

I am not sure that we have had a day off this month!

Kensey Rae is in full swing with her Cyclones Basketball team. She played at William Jewell in Liberty this past weekend, so we were able to stay at Jill's house. We had a great time. (I have to tell you the boys are so darn cute!) She took second place. She made high honor roll again and we are so proud of her! She has her eyes on the "rose award" at the end of the school year. The Rose Award is presented to the students who have not received anything but A's on their report card. (Cody received it and so she has her game face on!)

Cody has tournaments the month of February with his Viscosity team, since Middle School Basketball has ended. He is playing this weekend in Johnson County, Ks. He also made the high honor roll again (the child has never received anything lower than an A- in his life-we have no idea where he gets that from??) :) He is getting very active in youth at church which we are very happy with!

We will be on the go much of February with ball tournaments every weekend. BUT we will stop and celebrate on February 11th the 15th anniversary of our wedding!! It seems hard to believe that we have been married 15 years already!

New Year...Welcome 2008!

We are off and running!

We had a great time with family on New Year's Eve. We did NOTHING New Year's Day except play board games and I am not sure we have rested up yet! :)

We are back in full swing of school, church, and sports. (oh yeah, and work)

Our semester ended on Friday and I am happy to report that Cody and Kensey Rae both made High Honor Roll with straight A's. Cody set a goal when he went into the First Grade that he would never get anything but A's on his report card.. and here he is an 8th grader and he has ALWAYS had straight A's! Kensey Rae has set the same goal and so far, so good! (And she has way more fun with it than Cody does!!) :~)

They both are playing A LOT of basketball, so we are either on the road or in the bleachers! Both teams are doing very well!

God has been so good to us throughout 2007, I cannot imagine what He has in store for us in 2008.

I pray your year is a Blessed One!
